Microcurrent

The microcurrent needs a conductive medium to pass through the skin — dry skin blocks the current and the device won't do anything. Always apply a thin layer of water-based gel before each session.

Aloe vera gel is the go-to — cheap, hydrating, highly conductive. Hyaluronic acid serum or any water-based gel works just as well. Professional ultrasound/conductive gel is the premium option. Plain water works in a pinch but dries fast.

Avoid oils, butters, silicones, and heavy creams — they block the current entirely and the device won't deliver any effect. If your skin feels greasy or coated, wipe it clean and start over with a water-based gel.

Apply a thin layer of water-based gel, then slide both heads slowly across each area with both probes in constant contact with the skin. Around 5 minutes per zone — cheeks, jawline, forehead. If contact breaks, the current stops.
